During my post-college walkabout in Europe, I lived in London for three months. The British impressed me as the most politically evolved, able to articulate their individual political POV. A casual conversation with an average Brit often clarified my perspective. Their information was organized, sequential and had connectivity power.
June 2016, when Britain voted on Brexit, I was in Bulgaria, one of the “former” communist countries that joined the EU in 2009. I stayed up all night watching the results and loved it when the media “experts” and news anchors showed their surprise and confusion. The British didn’t disappoint my first impression of politically evolved citizens. The British had done the right thing and voted to leave the EU, in-spite of the bombardment of economic threats and unrelenting forecasts of financial doom.
I was energized by the fact that my configuration of information regarding the authenticity of the EU was in sync with the majority of Brits! I couldn’t connect how a regional economic organization made a major leap to become the EU Parliament in Brussels, without lots of debate and without lots of clarification about where control of the government of a member state ends and control of the EU Brussels Parliament begins.
Internet research indicates a complex, incremental process - a EU 1993 treaty and a EU 2009 treaty, being key to creating the EU Parliament in Brussels, as it exists today.
Since the Brexit referendum, reasons to reject Brexit have consumed 100% of the time. The cacophony of Brexit opposition parallels the jamming process of the airwaves used during the time of the Iron Curtain. Projections of financial doom are the 2019 cognitive lashes of the whip. The dissemination of exclusively negative threatening information is cognitive coercion. Absolutely no information has been added to clarify the disconnect regarding how the EU Parliament in Brussels came to be.
It is most significant to note that Brexit has never been about two different perspectives regarding financial benefit. Those who voted to leave the EU make no claims about financial benefits. Brexit is about the cause of freedom.
If only Winston Churchill could appear!
I am not British, but even as a 4-year-old, the name Churchill was monumental in my cognition. I was born in communist Bulgaria and lived my first 7 years, on the communist side of the Iron Curtain. At the time, radio signals from the free side of the Iron Curtain were jammed. In fact, it was illegal, and life threatening to give or receive any information whatsoever from the free side of the Curtain. Churchill was the only freedom fighter’s name that magically transcended the Iron Curtain.
Tyranny in 2019 doesn’t require chains or physical restrictions. Tyranny is exercised by control of information. Technological advances enable a Mass Media Oligarchy to control the dissemination of information, present their selection of information in multidimensional formats, with 24/7 access, to invade, occupy and misdirect the focus of human cognition. The updated 2019 Tyrant is invisible and anonymous.
The forces of the universe are infinitely awesome but fair. Technological advances also offer the opposite, positive, equally powerful option – more humans can access more information, about now and in history, than ever before. In 2019, more humans can connect to Churchill and his cognitive process than ever before.
Churchill connected to Great Britain’s 800 year history of victories for the cause of freedom, beginning with the Magna Carta (The Great Charter) one of the most important documents in human history, when in 1215, British barons won their first victory for the cause of freedom by establishing legal limits to a king’s power and secured an individual’s freedom to seek legal justice.
When the 2009 EU treaty came into effect, information focused on “no passport control” within member states that resembles the ease of movement of one-stop shopping; “one currency” that promotes more intelligent shopping; and, “12 new member states,” a significant increase in market size.
When the Pied Piper plays a catchy tune, focused on exciting new benefits, debate on the behind-the-scene treaty that commits a regional economic organization to surrender political sovereignty to a multinational organization is easy to skip over.
Churchill would shout that this is unacceptable. Churchill would insist that the cause of freedom can never be undermined, skipped over or neglected. There can be no doubt that Churchill would champion the cause of freedom and “wage war against a monstrous tyranny” in its 2019, updated format.
Brexit parallels the WWII sequence of events. Great Britain stood alone against the Nazi tyrant. Most of Europe was forced to either capitulate or surrender. Many British politicians were prepared to negotiate. Churchill was able to articulate Britain’s long, victorious connectivity to the cause of freedom and empower the British people with the courage to continue the fight for the cause of freedom.
From the perspective of the cause of freedom, is “the integrity of the single market” more valuable? The EU appears to be insensitive to the updated tyranny – to manipulate people, to maximize control over people, for maximum profit. Were the people of the EU member states ready to expand their economic commitment to the political commitment of a EU Parliament in Brussels without debate, without discussion? Can such a landmark expansion be authentic without discussion?
The cavalier attitude of the EU, that subjugates Britain to the role of an unruly child, does not sync-up to reality. Freedom has been hard-won. Finessing freedom from the people via behind-the-scene treaties is corruption.
Multinational or world government may be desirable as a future direction, when humans evolve. Multinational government too early, when it is the result of deception, manipulation and not an authentic choice, is the opposite of the ideal we look forward to.
Boris Johnson’s lawful and unexpected move to suspend Parliament provoked the Media Tyrant to become visible -- brilliant! The wide spectrum of intense, aggressive bombardment of negative information expose the fact that the Media Tyrant has an anti-Brexit agenda and is determined to control Great Britain.
Democracy? Why, in 2009, didn’t the media perform its designated watchdog function to inform the people, in 2009, that democracy was finessed via a behind-the-scene treaty? It doesn’t connect.
Reality connects.
The cause of freedom can never be consigned to history. The cause of freedom began with removing chains and it continues in 2019, in its cardinal form, free human cognition. The cause of freedom is the only value that all humans, now and in history, share as prime value. All humans respect and connect to FREE TO BE AUTHENTIC!
Eight hundred years of victories for the cause of freedom, from the Magna Carta through WWII, empowered the British to be first to sense that the switch of the regional economic organization to the EU Parliament in Brussels threatened their hard-won freedom.
The Brexit opponents must keep in mind that to choose the financially safe, expedient option will break the connection to 800 years of victories of individuals who had the courage to be authentic and fight for the cause of freedom. Connectivity of cognitive information is power.
When Brexit happens, Britain will continue to innovate, excel and lead, forward and up.
When needed, turn on Internet, tune in and connect to Churchill! Or, connect to Orwell, Jefferson – all the finest humans in history connect to the cause of freedom is the prime human value.
